The mixed wax mixture is injected under pressure into the moulds.
The wax models are cleaned and fed to the sprue system.
Wax models assembled into trees are individually dipped into a silica sand based ceramic mixture. They are dried in air-conditioned rooms at a constant temperature
The shell wax is melted in a wax bath.
Just before casting, the shells are annealed at 980°C. Melting takes place in two open furnaces with a capacity of 2x100kg.
The cooled castings are removed from the ceramic mould on a vibrating machine.
Necessary operations are performed on the castings to finish the casting before shipping.
We carry out 100% visual inspection of each casting. The entire casting process is monitored and independently controlled, dimensional inspection is performed on both the wax models and the final casting.
Finished products are packed and assembled according to the requirements of the final customer.
Quality in terms of meeting delivery deadlines and customer satisfaction is our primary goal. In this context, we will be implementing the ISO 9001:2009 quality management system. Although the company does not currently hold the certificate, all procedures are carried out in accordance with this system.
For spectral analyses we use a modern spectrometer BRUKER Q2 ION.
The production of steel castings using the meltable model method has a tradition of more than 25 years in the SPL foundry. Production was started by Strojtex Ltd. in the 1980s. In the 1990s, as part of the great privatisation, the property was transferred from state ownership to a private company and transformed into Strojtex a.s.
Our company acquired the production of precision casting in 2005 thanks to the strategic decision of the management of Strojtex a.s. to sell 2 of the existing 3 production plants and to operate and develop only the engineering production in the Sylvárov plant in Dvůr Králové n/L.
In the course of the above mentioned years, approximately 40 - 50 tons/year of precision cast steel castings were delivered to the market, which testifies to the mastered technology of production using the meltable model method, which results in a quality steel casting. At present, production is at the level of 100 tonnes of precision castings/year.
In 2018, the company moved to new premises in Hostinné, which are fully suitable and provide the necessary space for the development of the company.
In 2018, the company was certified and holds ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certificates.
